World & Technologies

Today, in such a fast growing world, technologies have even become a tycoon which changes the scenario of real world. It might be a logical or a mathematical calculation, a business problem, a job related issue, health problems, or even for sometimes future calculation, technologies are being developed in each and every field to create solutions to every aspect of life.

When I look back in the past, I find people standing in a place where no big machinery (technology), or in simple words, no such use of technology was there. The past decade has made a drastic change in the use of technologies for common man. The cellular giants have brought phones to each and everyone’s hand, and have become one of basic needs of people today. The companies that make the mobile phones have developed their phones to such an extent that a small phone can do almost all the work of a computer. The connectivity has been created to such an extent that “NO PLACE IS FAR”.

Moving towards another technical field, A.I.- Artificial Intelligence, a big emerging field of very high level of coding, and moreover higher thinking skills of a machine. While some of the modules of AI has been developed and another lots of them are still in alpha and beta testing, we can still feel their presence and how they will work. Voice to Text conversion can be taken as a simple and working example of the artificial intelligence.

Moving towards the biological fields, too many miracles have taken place in last decade. Heart transplant, Kidney transplant, even skull transplant have been done. Too many pharmacy miracles took place; development of medicines for curing severe diseases.

Technology has not only created goodwill to only mankind but also to the environment. It can be understood by a simple example: Use of paper has been reduced with the development of digital media, which causes less deforestation and thus helps saving the environment at some extent. There are lot more such examples in which demonstrate the goodwill of technology.

While on the other hand if we look on the other side of the coin, it has lots of cons too. The technology has created different hazards due to the radiations, a lot of guns, bombs and missiles have been created which are used for war, and causes loss of life.

Imagination takes the place of reality today. Science and Technology has changed the lives of people. An imagination of flying has changed the way of movement and has taken man to moon, an imagination of wireless communication with people far apart has created mobile phones that connect the world today, an imagination for having light even in the night time has created light and electricity.  Everything depends on the imagination of the creator and user today, how one uses the technology for cons or for pros purpose, as this thinking is going to decide how the future will be like.
