How to use Google Now Launcher in Xiaomi Phones

Many of us are using the Xiaomi mobile phones and are too friendly with its MIUI, but for those people who are new to the MIUI world and are not feeling comfortable with the MIUI, you have a good news.

Now you can use Google Now Launcher for the old and friendly user interface provided with almost all the android devices.

You need to follow some quick and easy steps to use Google Now Launcher in Xiaomi phones.

First of all, If you are someone like me who do not like keeping useless apps in your phone and have uninstalled the Google app, then first install it back and clear all the signup process, as the Google Now Launcher cannot be started up without “Google App”.

If you have already downloaded the “Google App”, the follow the steps below:

Step One: Go to “Security”

Step Two: Go to “Permissions”

Step Three: Select “Auto Start”

Step Four: Turn ON “Google App” permission to auto start, as this is going to launch the launcher automatically each time a reboot happens or the launcher stops.

Now download a fresh copy of “Google Now Launcher”, Let it be installed in your device. Once the app is installed, follow the steps below:

Step One: Go to “Settings”

Step Two: Go to “Installed Apps”

Step Three: Select the “Defaults Icon” at the bottom of the page.

Step Four: Select “Launcher”

Step Five: Now select “Google Now Launcher”.

Now press the home button and zooooppp…. You are ready to go with your friendly Google UI.
