Android VS Windows Phones

It has been a long term war between the two big technologies ANDROID and WINDOWS PHONE. The two technologies comes directly from the workshops of two giants GOOGLE and MICROSOFT, competing each other for capturing the market.
We have used the Windows Phone as well as the Android technologies too. The two companies have tried to provide almost all the features to their clients and customers in most efficient rates. The big watch-out behind is: the rate of upgrades thrown by each company one after other.
Lets first discuss about the Android OS. Android is a technology being used by a mass market on the globe today. The technology provides multitasking as well as multithreading type of things. When we talk about the OS, it is free to be downloaded and used in any device (compatible one). The clients of android : All the android featuring brands, have been given the authority to design their own UI as well as other required softs as per their demands. Also they are free to employ changes to the OS as per need and users requirements.  This free use has created a big cost cutting in the android featuring devices. While on the other hand, Google provides cloud storage for free to store the backup of the android phone as well as the synchronization of the devices also provides a good and reliable scenario to the users.

Moving to the other giant, Microsoft: Windows Phone. The company is trying its best to lead the market. But yet, not seems to work too well. The company has taken up NOKIA for its mobile development and processing. While it sells its Windows Phone  OS mounted on its own devices only, the company found to have a loss in the market. As the OS cost made the cost of the phones to go higher than the reliable one. The company then decided to remove the cost factor and allowed the clients to use the Windows Phone OS for free. The vendors did that and lifted the Windows Phone market to some extent. Microsoft allows more cloud storage for free and also provides all the features similar to the ones provided by Google.

While we compare the two OS, we will find:

1. Android has a bigger market than Windows Phone.

2. Android has more versions than Windows Phone.

3. Android has more vendors than Windows Phone.

4. Android Store contains more apps than Windows Phone Store.

5. Android has more problems related to slow speed, hang, memory full, and a lot of bugs. While Windows Phone has no such big issues.

6. Each time a new Android Phone is launched in the market, it comes with a higher amount of RAM, a more layered Processor with higher clock etc. While there is no such case with Windows Phone.

7. Today one can find an Android Phone with 6 GB RAM, Decca-core processor and storage up to 320 GB, and still when new versions come, the device goes outdated and a new one hits the market for a better experience. On the other hand its totally different with Windows Phone. The latest version Windows Phone 10 runs smooth with a 1GB RAM device on a quad- core processor at 1.3GHz clock.

8. The Android is considered to have a bunch of apps online. But when we go through it, we found out that the apps are of similar variants. Example: Talking Tom, Talking Angela, Talking Squirrel, etc..

9. While Android do not provide upgrades to the versions before Android Kitkat, it creates a mass users to throw their devices and buy a new one for new experience, even when the new device consist of the similar hardware configuration. On the other hand, Windows Phone provides update to almost all its users who are using Windows Phone 8 or above, without need of hardware up-gradation, even the devices having 512MB RAM are provided the Windows Phone 10 update.

10. A new concept of data sync has been provided by both the companies. The Google provides sync of the Google Chrome on all devices, which one might not find effective. On the other hand Microsoft has made a uniform platform across all the devices, its providing Windows 10 Upgrades to all the PCs as well as Windows Phone 10 Upgrades all its phone devices for free, which will create a uniformity across the devices and will sync all the settings and apps on all the devices

Now it has been a big war between the two technologies for providing better services and better devices to users. Depending on the facts above, one can understand which device can be considered for a better future use and which is reliable for multiple variety of applications.
